Puro Pirineo, in Benasque Valley (Huesca, Spain) has reached from his birth 6 years ago being one of the best destinations in the Pyreenes of Huesca la Magia de la Bici, to practise MTB. Unique landscapes with long and epic downhills in high mountain surrounded by 3000m peaks like Aneto (3.404m) in the heart of Posets-Maladeta Natural Park , one of the most ecological value natural reserve of the Huesca Pyrenees.
Internationally known are downhills like Gallinero, Rabaltueras, Puerto de Sahún y Sierra Negra. It’s sure that some of them will be present in Trans-Nomad 2020.
A project managed by Puro Pirineo Association and 10 local towns which has created and preserved 30 beautiful routes and recovered singletracks for any level of mtb. But it’s true that the favorite routes are those which reache more than 2000m altitude.
Surrounded by other bigger bike zones like Zona Zero Sobrarbe in the west, Val d’Aran in the east and french Luchon Valley in the north, Puro Pirineo is a unique destination to enjoy pure mountain bike.

Castejón de Sos
Castejón de Sos is the center of Puro Pirineo and has hosted Trans-Nomad and other national mtb events on several occasions.
This town, along with 3 other municipalities was the origin in 2015 of what is now Puro Pirineo, an international mtb destination with more than 30 routes.
Castejón de Sos has always bet strongly on our sport, in 2015 it hosted the Enduro Big Ride Spanish Open for the first time and did it again for 3 more editions, turning Castejón de Sos and Puro Pirineo into a national and international benchmark for enduro and a great destination for both competitors and lovers of bicycle routes.
This year Castejón de Sos is going to host two big enduro events: Enduro Spanish Championship on 12th-13th September organized by Puro Pirineo and Trans-Nomad on 1st-04th October, being the only headquarters in this 5th edition.

Zona Zero Sobrarbe
Zona Zero is without any doubt the sweet home of enduro and best known destination in Spain. With more than 80 routes, not only for enduro, also for e-bike enduro (first national area to offer them), and road biking this has been the destination who has placed in maps Pyrenees like one of the best area for mountain biking in Europe. Zona Zero is also at the entrance of Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, one of the most beautiful and visited National Park in Spain.
Enduro World Series event in Zona Zero Sobrarbe in 2015 and 2018 were the point to become one of the best destinations in the world for enduro mtb and that’s why thousands of riders from all over the world come there during the year to enjoy their routes.
With a really big area from the south with the rocky and mediterranean Sierra de Guara to center zone with Ainsa connected by millenial singletracks between their towns and forests and the highest peaks of Valle de Bielsa and Bal de Chistau, Zona Zero offers a unique and diverse area with all styles routes and difficulties in the Pyrenees of Huesca La Magia de la Bici.
Valle de Bielsa was present at Trans-Nomad 2019 y Bal de Chistau has been present in previous editions. In 2020 Trans-Nomad returns to Bal de Chistau discovering some of its epic high mountain routes such as Colladeta del Ibón.
