The trip of a lifetime starts here, and it does so with two key figures: 2,900 meters of altitude and 10,000 meters of pure flow!
The ninth edition of Trans-Nomad by Orbea, taking place from September 30th to October 5th, 2026 (event dates; race days from October 1st to 4th), has its route set. Although the course is always “blind” and won’t be revealed until just before the race, here are some highlights to let your imagination fly and fuel your desire to be part of this madness.
We are especially excited to return to Bielsa, one of our favorite base camps due to its high-quality trails, vast landscapes, and, above all, the warm welcome from its local council and people.
Bielsa: The Mecca goes unchartered (Days 1 & 2)
In this ninth edition, we return to our beloved Bielsa Valley, at the gates of Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. The first day will reconnect us with the incredible terrain of Bielsa Trocs in a classic stage—the kind that defines a perfect day of “pata negra” (top-tier) enduro. Watch out for day two: hairpins, hike-a-bike sections, and the Pyrenees at your feet. This year we’ve upped the ante with an unchartered stage where we will touch the sky, climbing with our bikes to nearly 3,000 meters. Low oxygen, maximum Trans-Nomad epicness.

From Posets to the Kingdom of Flow (Day 3)
On the third day, we depart from Bal de Chistau, under the imposing silhouette of Posets (3,369 m). After summiting legendary high-mountain passes (yes, exactly the ones you’re thinking of), we will cross into the Benasque Valley. Get ready to let off the brakes on the best trails of Puro Pirineo before resting in the heart of Benasque village.

The Queen Stage: The Return (Day 4)
To close the loop, we return to Bielsa through another wild area of Bal de Chistau. An EPIC day connecting three valleys through a selection of the best local trails. The icing on the cake for an edition as wild and alpine as you’d expect.
