For several years now, Bielsa Trocs<\/strong><\/a> has become a mecca for mountain biking enthusiasts and trail lovers. This project, promoted by the Bielsa Town Council, has made a strong commitment to trail recovery and construction<\/strong>, crafting authentic gems of trails with pick and shovel through magical forests, delighting enduro enthusiasts. Some of these trails were already tested during the 2019<\/strong> Trans-Nomad edition and were undoubtedly among the highest-rated trails of that event. The reputation of this emerging destination and its paths continues to grow, attracting more and more national and international cyclists who come to this area to put them to the test.<\/span><\/p>

But Bielsa and its valleys are also the birthplace of some of the most legendary mountain biking routes, promoted by Zona Zero Pirineos<\/strong><\/a>. Examples include Comodoto or Cruz de Guardia<\/strong>, which Trans-Nomad has also traversed in past editions. And let\u2019s not forget that Bielsa is one of the natural paradises of the Huesca Pyrenees<\/strong>, as it ventures into the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park and the Posets Maladeta Natural Park.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

For the 2026 Trans-Nomad edition, Bielsa Trocs has promised new and delightful trails, which we\u2019ll combine with some of the high-mountain paths offered by different areas such as Sierra de Espierba, Montinier, Urdiceto, Punta Suelza, or Puerto Viejo<\/strong>. The blend of high-mountain trails and Bielsa Trocs promises an exclusive cocktail of unforgettable sensations on two wheels.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In recent years, Puro Pirineo<\/strong> has earned its reputation as one of the premier mountain biking destinations in the Pyrenees. It offers a unique stage for riders, featuring epic long-distance descents and high-mountain landscapes surrounded by peaks exceeding 3,000 meters, including the mighty Aneto (3,404 m)<\/strong> in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park.<\/div>
World-renowned trails such as Rinc\u00f3n del Cielo, Gallinero, Rabaltueras, Puerto de Sah\u00fan, and Sierra Negra<\/strong> are already legendary, and you can be sure some of them will feature in Trans-Nomad 2026.<\/div>
Managed by the Puro Pirineo Association<\/strong>, the project maintains nearly 1,000 km of routes and 250 km of hand-recovered trails for all skill levels. Its crown jewels, however, are the high-altitude routes that climb above 2,000 meters. Surrounded by other top-tier destinations like Zona Zero Pirineos<\/strong>, Val d\u2019Aran<\/strong>, and the French valley of Luchon<\/strong>, this is a truly exceptional place for pure mountain biking.<\/div>

Considered one of the last pristine valleys in the Huesca Pyrenees<\/strong>, this small valley, dotted with villages and hamlets, seems to defy the passage of time while maintaining its traditional legacy of grazing, extensive livestock farming and tradition.<\/span><\/p>

Nestled between the Bielsa Valley and the Benasque Valley, it is dominated by \u00a0Posets\u00a0 Peak (3,369 meters)<\/strong>, covered with mountain meadows and small stone livestock huts at higher altitudes, as well as dense wet forests and villages in the valley bottom. All of this lies on the wild and rustic side of the Posets Maladeta Natural Park<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

The valley is surrounded by mountain passes at over 2,000 meters in height, such as the Collado de Cruz de Guardia or the Collado de Sah\u00fan,<\/strong> which have been crossed by Trans-Nomad many times. It is a place where some of the Pyrenees\u2019 sacred trails are hidden, including those leading to Ib\u00f3n de Plan or Basa de la Mora<\/strong>, as well as the Puerto de Plan<\/strong> or the Puerto de la Madera<\/strong>, among others.<\/span><\/p>

In the 2026 edition, Trans-Nomad will once again stop in Bal de Chistau<\/strong><\/a>, and as always, we will enjoy its landscapes and trails. We\u2019ll explore some of its well-known paths, but with new, previously unseen variations for Trans-Nomad. Undoubtedly, it will be a few adventurous days in one of the most beautiful and untamed valleys of the Pyrenees.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
