David and Marc are AranBikeParks (www.aranbikeparks.es) are working very hard to position Val d’Arán as a destination of national reference not only in skiing, in hiking or in road cycling, but also for enduro and DH form an essential part of the tourist offer of this Pyrenean valley.
Not only are they a company that carry out ski lifts and guided tours, they are the artisans who have shaped the routes within the forests, to turn their dream into the delights of the MTB cyclists.
They worked hard to create the first public bike park in Spain in the surroundings of Vielha and in the beautiful enclave of Bassa d’Olés and the Varicauva Forest. They continue to work maintaining circuits and opening new lines in the forest. Rolling through this enclave is something magical.
But not happy with the DH promotion, they also wanted to develop the enduro and thus they created their second son, the EnduroMies project. An offer of enduro routes of different difficulty, this time in the surroundings of the mountain of Mies that share the municipal terms of Salardú, Gessa and Arties.
Their routes proposals attract more and more users to the Val d’Arán and also to more companies that want to collaborate with them to offer their routes to their clients.
With Trans-Nomad, the collaboration was clear from the beginning, we wanted to explore their destination and they gave us all the facilities to test routes, so much of the fault of the great stretches that we will have in Trans-Nomad 2018 is thanks to the proposals of David and Marc.
They will not only collaborate during the event with their van and lifts, but they will give us a hand to the brigade of trails of Trasn-Nomad to leave the perfect routes for the test.
David and Marc, thank you for approaching the Val d’Aran to Trans-Nomad and for promoting enduro and DH in this beautiful Pyrenean valley. We wish you many successes.
